Epic Disappointment

That is what best describes what has come to pass in the last 24 hours.

After lunch, I went on to the continuation of my quest to finally enroll in the community college of my choice and apply for passport renewal. It started really bad. The rain pelted hard on the window as the bus left the terminal. It promised not to let up anytime soon that my feet was sodden the whole time that I spend trying to blend in the young crowd.

Enrollment has never been this bad. It felt like I was beamed 20 years back when computers and internet were just jargon for the then young computer science course students. The queue was as bad and there was no clear instructions as to how to enroll. A simple flowchart with list of requirements posted on strategic places in the building would have been very helpful.

The saddest thing was that I queued last Monday with my requirements deemed complete with instructions to come back yesterday to enrol. That didn't happen though. My papers was subjected to another perusal and found to be incomplete. And so, another two hours was wasted waiting and two hours travelling to and back. It was so frustrating I wanted to scream my lungs out. I kept my cool but vowed to stay out of Community College and go back to where I truly belong, to my home once as an "Iska" (if they will have me again after being on AWOL for two terms).

In an attempt to improve how my day will end, I found myself riding a bus going to Bacolod. Dinner was an early affair with KZ (took an exam at a BPO) and Tim (scheduled to take his medical exam but missed) before we hit the theaters. The choices from last weekend were the same so we ended up with EPIC in 3D (the other choices being Bromance, The Apartment, Fast and Furious 6 and Star Trek which I watched two times already). It was alright, nothing fantastic and it did very little in uplifting my spirit. That or I don't really have my heart in any other activity anymore after a very bad start of my afternoon.

Then there's one matter at home that shocked the bejesus out of me. I was restless all night and feeling like a zombie today.
