Baranggay Election, where was I?

It was a last minute decision. The choice was between going to Bacolod or vote. Deliberation was short. Thinking of the one-hour puj ride was enough to sway my mind into staying and exercising my civil duty.

At the polling center, candidates still made their last minute campaigns. Two candidates were former bystander neighbors, one was a classmate of sis in grade school, two were scions of dad's mahjong friends and one was a schoolmate from high school.

Choosing was easy. I feel sorry though for my fellow ka-baranggays. What should we expect from this lot?
