(getting sick after a vacation) it's not a ruse to escape responsibility but a result of too much excitement of having to impossibly cram everything in the last few moments of the holidays leading to extreme exhaustion making the body vulnerable to opportunistic bugs.
for my recent case, it's a combination of a lot of things. try traipsing here and there, do loads of laundry, market, cook, wash the dishes, mop clean the shop, miss meals and indulge in vanilla ice cream. you'll end up in my shoes with temperature warmer than any living creature, uncomfortably clogged nose, involuntary bronchospasm intent to expel stubborn phlegm, tasteless buds (which fail to curb a rather healthy appetite), heady feeling and the list goes long.
