Wow! A week has passed but I barely noticed it.
On Monday (Feb 8), on top of picking up tiles for the bathroom (striking red for mom's and brown for ours) we brought home the latest addition to our growing number of canine friends, Cuchi, a yellow female lab (named after sis' trip to the historical place she recently visited). Did I mention bringing home Bella's half sis on Friday of last week as well. Her Registration shall bear Volt Tara after lil bro (hehehe).
On Tuesday, I forgot what I actually did. Slept in late, I think.
On Wednesday, I had a reflexologist do her way with me (after washing three loads of laundry) to soothe my aching heels. The relief was shortlived though. I may not show up for the next session. I ended watching AI's first day on Hollywood.
On Thursday, I left early but not too early for the transaction that I meant to accomplish, i.e., getting an NBI Clearance. At 7:30, the am slots have been all taken and I was number 51 on queueu for the pm session. To pass time, I had pancakes and coffee at 6th St and read my book (Mortification) at Mayfair's 3F (a good place to stay if it wasn't so hot and if l'sea wasn't so near when i was constantly thinking about chicken feet which at 10:00 was still closed). I had lechon macao and drumsticks for lunch, bought 2 dvds and 4 brands of s-sized diapers at 888. The time seemed to have been stuck as after doing all that, there was still three quarters of an hour left left to fill before 1 PM. I decided to complete the waiting at NBI office and went back to my reading. Setting aside the delay on releasing of the receipts, the cashier is efficient, completing each transaction at the rate of 1.5 min per person. Anyways, I was able to get home in time for the AI Group Day in Hollywood (even when, out of whim, I walked from Burgos-Lacson to the bus terminal at Libertad).
On Friday, spent most of the day at sis' place minding the dogs and watching countless episodes of Psych.
