Today is indeed a new day. New month, new work shift schedule. Finally, after nearly five months of struggling in keeping with the 4:30-13:30 schedule (which meant leaving the house at 3:30 when all the world still lie in slumber), the wheel of fortune has turned.
Today dawned with the sun hiding its face until almost 7:00 am. The city was shrouded with a thick mist that walking through the narrow back roads in the village felt eerie. Transportation was scarce. Residents who were up as early wre at the front yard, still garbed in their sleeping garments, watched in awe at the fog which was very slow to disperse. Fine morning!
