For the third time since I've been in the academe, BAMR has been our venue for the School's Acquaintance Party. One lesson learned, it can be a little crowded in the loo. So to avoid having to hurry when doing the big thing or changing, I opted to take a room to myself which I ended up sharing with Jen and KZ. I mean how sad can it get staying in that resort for the night, alone.
The day took its toll. After some swimming session, in the rain, cut short by the presence of some five rowdy locals, we foraged for rice and water to go with the humongous grilled fish left over from our luncheon feast.
Looking back, participation was the farthest from my lit of activities. Besides the assignment of judging the two major contests for the day and awarding the prizes, I did nothing more than sit on the table and check the goings on and laugh my heart out. And there was some ogling as well that rendered me giddy.
Nevertheless, the day rendered us all tired that shortly after our sparse dinner, all three of us were already asleep.

Going down to civilization was another matter, this being our first time to commute. We chose the safe and easy way, the highway. From the resort, we took a trike going to Maao, and from Maao, the Jeepstar to Bago (Ubay intersection) which trip took us one and a half hour to complete. We could have alit at the Maao Central but it was already late when I realized that it would have saved us a lot of time if we decided to be adventurous and get lost in the middle of nowhere :D
