Means to Multiple Ends (the 61st to the ultimate hour)

November 18, 2012

Rest came easily once I got settled in my hosts' room. They had a new bed, an A/C unit and an LCD TV with which we spent the rest of the night watching "One Piece" before sleep finally stole our consciousness.

Breakfast was leftover from Tita Doll's birthday dinner. I left soon to meet Ace for coffee. I went through the wrong entrance which brough me near coffee bean. I went in and had their machiatto. You can't fault their coffee but the donut needs to be desired. Wifi only works with accumulated points on their "suki" card which I do not have.

I finished my coffee quickly and went to find Starbucks. There, I ordered a hot drink and a Frap for Ace who joined me not long after. Wifi was also not working.

Next on the agenda was getting some new shirt to wear for the trip. Gio vnecks were on sale, I got some grey ones.

Lunch was at Bon Chon's as planned. I was too full with coffee to eat a full meal, I just sampled their chicken specialty, fish and some chips.

I was already running late after I bought some KK donuts I called Dolly to have my luggage delivered at McDonald's near Gaimac for me to make it to boarding. Well, I did with still ample time to spare, only that the plane arrived four hours later than it was supposed to leave the airport. Airphil is such a big disappointment.

The terminal was a picture of bored, frustrated passengers. Overheard were calls apologizing for not making it to dinner with kids due to the delay. I was as bored that even playing games to pass time or smsing have lost appeal.

The flight itself was uneventful and touch down was a vast improvement from the flight going to cebu three days before. Having had very little for lunch, I was looking forward to dinner.

We had baby back ribs and chopsuey at Circle.

My welcome party was ahead of time despite the long trip from Kabankalan (it being a Friday) whom I found waiting at the convenience store in front of the hotel.

I couldn't ask for more about how this trip ended.
