It was an ordinary day which tended to close extra-ordinarily.
While I was preparing for my nightly reading, I came across a question in one of my work group chats asking a colleague how she was doing. I was completely clueless. My...Kanlaon spewed a 5km high plume at 6:51 followed by a fiery cough.
The realization was slow to come that by the time I thought of filling water containers, it was too late already. I only managed to fill one.
It's 10:15 PM now and the pungent smell of sulfur permeates the night air. The southern skies rumbles with impending rain which may arrest the flight of ash in our direction.
